introspective periscope : peeking inside since Y2K ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- personal day and i'm out the door - 17 march 2o15 "must be some kind of planet for all the people who can manage all of us who can handle it with all of this damage."~the dandy warhols the nanny needs thursday off so i took a personal day. i'm looking forward to it like crazy. a chance to get a bunch done before the weekend so i can spend most of it outside, hopefully. so thursday, we'll take the bebe for a weight check. we'll take the dog for a grooming because even if it is still spitting snow, when sam starts shedding, i know spring is coming. i swear i heard a robin sing but i bet that was my head playing cooped up cabin fever games with me. i'll sit down and do my taxes while the baby takes a nap and i'll have a pot of coffee, probably. and, depending on how that last bit goes, i'll probably need to start planning how i'm gonna knock off a bank for like fifteen thousand dollars. queue netflix search for bank heist films and other robberies. i'm probably going to need a costume, too, right? i feel like if i'm going to rob a bank, there should definitely be a costume involved because when else are you going to wear one? halloween? come on. i've got to find more reasons to wear fishnets, man. bank robberies require a costume. i'm not really going to rob a bank but i mean...i've got to consider all my options. thursday, i can't wait to meet you. xo, ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- .what came before. - .what happened next. a diamond at the bottom of the drain - 20 october 2017 |
