"...the open window lets the rain in."~jeff buckley

verbil, please come home. please. now it is i who is begging.

there are lots of cow ears that you can chew on and i've got a big rawhide bone that i know you'll just love. i was waiting for you to be especially good. but now, i'll give it to you if you would please just come back. and there are lots of delightful sticks falling out of the trees for us to play with. and i'll buy bags and bags of those treats you like and only feed you the red ones because i know they're your favourite. and besides, its raining. your fur will get all wet and cold and you might get sick and that would make me really sad. and your food is there in your bowl waiting for you. the rain will make it soggy and thats no good. and most importantly, i love you more than any furry four legged creature in the world.

i mean...why did you go? was it because you heard me talking about getting another dog? i swear it was just so you'd have a friend to play with...i swear it. you know i'd always be partial to you. if you dont want another, we don't have to have any puppy but you. i'm okay with that.

just please: come home.

i miss you.
